Honors the Scottsboro Rotary Club on its 60th anniversary on March 23, 2018, which was chartered on March 23, 1958 with assistance from the Huntsville Rotary Club.

Recognizes the club's service to Scottsboro and Jackson County, Alabama through advocacy of education, economic development, and community development aligned with Rotary International's six causes.

Commends specific achievements including support for the IMPACT Learning Center, Boy Scouts Troop 18, Camp Jackson, Scottsboro High School Interact Club, and Northeast Alabama Community College Rotaract Club.

Acknowledges the club's distribution of thousands of books through the annual Drop Everything and Read (DEAR) Day Program, provision of annual scholarships to Scottsboro High School students, and donations to the Rotary International Foundation.

Senate adopted the resolution on February 22, 2018 and the House adopted it on March 1, 2018; a special luncheon honoring the milestone was scheduled for March 21, 2018.
