SB84 (Senator Smitherman): Prohibits racial profiling by law enforcement officers during traffic stops; requires written policies, statistical forms, and reports to the Attorney General; establishes complaint provisions.

SB69-SB75, SB134-SB135 (Senator Bussman): Multiple bills addressing Sunset Law reviews for various boards and commissions (Home Medical Equipment, Foresters, Construction Recruitment Institute, Sickle Cell Commission, Prosthetists and Orthotists, Pilotage Commission, Surface Mining Commission, Oil and Gas Board, and Elevator Safety Review Board) with continued operation dates extended to October 1, 2022 or 2020, or removal from sunset review process.

SB98 (Senator Orr): Authorizes county commissions to reduce ad valorem taxes for projects under the Alabama Jobs Act.

SB17 (Senator Ward): Modifies the Alabama Family Trust Corporation to ensure compliance with federal Social Security law; eliminates successor life beneficiary provisions and allows remainder disbursement for medical assistance without affecting Medicaid appropriations.

SB13 (Senator Albritton): Reforms marriage contract recording procedures, eliminating probate judge recording requirements and modifying related statutory provisions.
