Reduces the cancellation period for roofing contracts from 10 business days to 5 business days after receiving written notice that an insurance claim is not covered or insufficient.

Expands cancellation rights to apply when the covered claim will not be sufficient to cover the contract amount, in addition to claims that are not covered losses.

Requires residential roofing contractors to provide insured persons with written cancellation notice in boldface type (minimum 10 points) and a detachable "Notice of Cancellation" form before entering into a contract.

Prohibits roofing contractors from requiring payment during the 5-day cancellation period, except for emergency services acknowledged in writing by the insured as necessary.

Prohibits roofing contractors from representing or negotiating on behalf of property owners regarding insurance claims related to roof repair or replacement.
