• Amends Alabama Code Sections 32-6-250 and 32-6-251 to add the Air Medal to the list of military awards eligible for distinctive permanent license plates.

• Air Medal recipients must pay regular registration fees, ad valorem taxes, and an annual additional fee of $25, matching the fee structure for Distinguished Flying Cross, Silver Star, and Bronze Star recipients.

• Air Medal distinctive plates will use the designation "AM" and be issued without fee to eligible residents for one vehicle, with options to obtain additional plates upon payment of all applicable fees and taxes.

• Net proceeds from Air Medal plate sales, after administrative and production costs, shall be distributed to the Alabama Veterans' Assistance Fund in the State Treasury.
