Amends Section 17-11-14 of the Alabama Code to extend the compensation period for absentee election managers from 45 days to 55 days prior to an election.

Expands the compensated time period to include the 55-day pre-election period, the day of the election, and a seven-day period following the election when ballots under the Uniformed and Overseas Citizens Absentee Voting Act may be returned.

Maintains the minimum compensation of at least $50 per day or equivalent pay as an inspector under Section 17-8-12, with a maximum of 46 total days worked.

Preserves existing compensation rates in counties with higher amounts prescribed by local or general law of local application, preventing increases or decreases from the established amount.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
