Amends Section 34-14A-4 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to require the Home Builders Licensure Board to obtain approval from the Governor and the State Personnel Board before setting the salary of the executive director and deputy director.

The board previously had sole authority to fix salaries for these positions; approval requirement now applies to both the executive director and deputy director salaries.

Removes the exemption that made the executive director salary authority not subject to Section 36-6-6(b), while maintaining that the authority to fix the executive director salary is still not subject to that subsection.

Becomes effective immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon otherwise becoming law.
