Authorizes local boards of education to offer yoga instruction to students in grades K-12, repealing the existing prohibition on yoga in Alabama public schools.

Yoga instruction is an elective activity and students may opt out in favor of alternative activities that schools must provide.

Local boards have exclusive discretion to determine the duration and frequency of yoga instruction periods.

All yoga instruction limited to poses, exercises, and stretching techniques using only English descriptive names, with poses restricted to sitting, standing, reclining, twisting, and balancing positions.

Prohibits chanting, mantras, mudras, mandalas, and namaste greetings in yoga instruction.
