• Amends Section 28-3-4 of the Alabama Code to create an exception to restrictions on financial and business interests between alcoholic beverage manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers.

• Allows manufacturers, importers, or wholesalers to serve as members, donors, directors, or officers of tax-exempt nonprofit organizations that hold retail class alcoholic beverage licenses.

• Exception applies regardless of the nonprofit organization's stated purpose.

• Maintains all existing prohibitions on financial relationships and conflicts of interest between manufacturers, wholesalers, and retailers outside this nonprofit exception.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
