Apply only to Sumter County, allowing the sheriff to contract with private, public, or governmental entities for service of process, except for arrest warrants.

Assess a service of process fee of $15 for each document requiring personal service within Sumter County courts.

Assess a service of process fee of $50 for each document requiring personal service for matters in courts elsewhere in Alabama.

Assess a service of process fee of $75 for each document requiring personal service for matters in courts outside of Alabama.

Court officials shall collect fees and remit them to the sheriff for deposit into the Sheriff's Law Enforcement Fund, which the sheriff may use for law enforcement purposes without diminishing other income sources.
