Applies only to Monroe County and imposes an additional court cost of $7.50 in all civil, criminal, and traffic cases in the district, circuit, and juvenile courts.

All revenue from the additional court costs shall be paid to the Monroe County Commission and designated for courthouse security.

Judges retain authority to waive or remit the court costs upon a sworn showing of substantial financial hardship.

The additional court costs are not intended to replace or diminish other funding sources for the presiding circuit judge's office.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
