• Notes that over 148,000 youths in Alabama leave school daily without supervision, and Boys and Girls Clubs of Alabama provides safe, constructive environments for approximately 43,000 youth annually across 45 cities and three military installations

• Acknowledges that the Boys and Girls Club Movement has operated since 1941 and that every $1 invested generates over $14 in economic benefits to youth, families, and communities

• Directs the Alabama Legislature to acknowledge the dedication and good works of the Alabama Alliance of Boys and Girls Clubs and thank them for their service to youth, families, and communities statewide
