Commends Vincent E. Calametti, a Registered Professional Civil Engineer, for his dedicated service to the State of Alabama Department of Transportation.

Calametti earned a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of South Alabama in 1982 and was employed by the Alabama Department of Transportation starting July 29, 1985.

Served as Division Engineer in Mobile, Alabama for six years, transitioning a four-county division to a 10-county region, and managed the Southwest Region for six years.

As Construction Engineer and Southwest Region Engineer, oversaw $2.3 billion worth of construction projects in Baldwin, Mobile, Conecuh, and Escambia counties and received the Regional Director's Conservation Award on May 4, 2009.
