• Names Room 621 of the Alabama State House the "Legislative Services Agency Bassett Conference Room" in honor of Jerry Bassett.

• Jerry Bassett served as the longest-serving Director of Legislative Reference Service from 1991 to 2015 and continues as Senior Counsel to the Legislative Services Agency.

• Recognizes Bassett's service to the Alabama Legislature since 1991, including his leadership roles with the Uniform Commission on State Laws, Council of State Governments, National Conference of State Legislatures, and Southern Legislative Conference.
