Mourns the death of Mr. Richard Fred Rushing of Birmingham, Alabama, who died on April 17, 2019, at age 80.

Recognizes Mr. Rushing's 46-year career in the cast iron pipe industry, working for U.S. Pipe and McWane, Incorporated, where he was known for mentoring employees and impacting lives across the country.

Highlights his musical talents as a member of the Birmingham Boys Choir and the Warblers at Woodlawn High School, and his return to singing after retirement in 2006.

Notes his survivors including his wife of 59 years, Madelon Logan Rushing, two daughters, and three grandchildren.
