Recognizes Coffee County Sheriff's Deputy Jace Holley as a recipient of the 2019 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement, Alabama's highest law enforcement award.

On June 6, 2018, at approximately 3:55 AM, Deputy Holley entered a burning van three times to rescue three children (ages 4, 10, and 14) trapped in a vehicle following a major car accident on State Highway 167 at CR-145 in Coffee County.

Deputy Holley is a member of the Alabama National Guard with the rank of Staff Sergeant and has served several overseas combat deployments as a Military Police officer.

Legislature honors Deputy Holley for demonstrating immense courage, diligence, and quick response in a life-threatening situation and his unwavering commitment to protect and serve.

House adopted the resolution on May 15, 2019, and the Senate adopted it on May 16, 2019.
