• Congratulates Joseph Bradley on winning a gold medal in English Equitation at the 2019 Special Olympics World Games held in Abu Dhabi, March 14-21.

• Bradley also won two bronze medals in English Working Trails and Dressage events at the games.

• Bradley is a senior at Jefferson Davis High School who has overcome childhood trauma and life-threatening injuries from abuse, becoming interested in horseback riding in 2011.

• Bradley is the first Alabamian selected to attend the Special Olympics World Games in at least 10 years; the 2019 games featured 200 nations, more than 7,000 athletes, and 20,000 registered volunteers.
