Honors and commends the G.W. Long High School Baseball Team for winning the 2019 AHSAA Class AA State Baseball Championship.

Team finished with a 34-6 record and earned their third consecutive state championship and 16th baseball state title in AHSAA history.

Won the Class 2A title series with a shutout victory over Westbrook Christian in Game 2 at Riverwalk Stadium in Montgomery.

Names 19 team members and coaching staff including head coach Drew Miller and MVP Matt Snell, who went 3-for-3 at the plate and pitched a six-hit shutout.
