Honors and commends the Briarwood Christian School Boys Soccer Team for winning the 2019 AHSAA Class 4A-5A State Championship.

Team defeated Springville 5-0 in the state final at John Hunt Park, with goals scored by Logan Frost, Trent Malloy, Jackson Stubbs, and Hamilton Bowen, plus one own goal.

Team finished the season with a 21-1-3 record and maintained the number 1 ranking in the 4A-5A state coaches' poll throughout the spring.

Set a state record for most consecutive shutouts with 10 games without allowing a goal from mid-February to mid-March.

Directed that a copy of the resolution be provided to the school for appropriate display, with credit given to Head Coach Shawn Brower for his leadership.
