Coach Curtis has served as Head Football Coach at UMS-Wright for 20 years and as Athletic Director since 2001, with a total coaching career of 46 years and an overall record of 303-85 with a playoff record of 70-20.

Won 7 State Championships as Head Football Coach at UMS-Wright and 97 State Championships in various sports while serving as Athletic Director.

In 18 of his 20 years at UMS-Wright, his teams advanced to at least the quarterfinals of the AHSAA State Playoffs, with 5 undefeated regular seasons and 3 undefeated championship seasons.

Recognized for emphasizing honorable competition and investing in the lives of his players and the broader UMS-Wright student body and young athletes across the state and nation.
