Recognizes and commends Janet Mann for her service to the Montgomery Tuskegee Alumni Club (MTAC).

Mann is a 1973 Business Management graduate of Tuskegee University who joined MTAC in 1978 and has served as president since 1989 for 30 years.

Initiated numerous programs and initiatives including the MTAC newsletter, Broadway play fundraiser, homecoming events, bus trips, and merchandise that increased club membership.

Served as Tuskegee Alumni Southeast Region Director from 1998 to 2003, establishing seven new or reactivated clubs and creating an emergency scholarship fund for regional students.

Oversaw the distribution of over 100 scholarships to local area students during her tenure as president and received multiple awards for her dedication to Tuskegee alumni organizations.
