Recognizes Coffee County Sheriff's Deputy Jace Holley as a 2019 Alabama Legislative Medal of Honor for Law Enforcement recipient for extraordinary courage in the line of duty.

On June 6, 2018, at approximately 3:55 AM, Deputy Holley entered a burning van three times to rescue three children (ages 4, 10, and 14) trapped in a vehicle following a major car accident on State Highway 167 at CR-145 in Coffee County.

Deputy Holley risked his own life pulling the children from an almost fully engulfed fiery crash that resulted in two fatalities and three others injured.

Deputy Holley is an Alabama National Guard member with several overseas combat deployments as a Military Police officer, holding the rank of Staff Sergeant.

Directs that Deputy Holley receive a copy of this resolution as evidence of the legislature's admiration and esteem.
