Recognizes and honors the Ivy Center of Huntsville/Madison County Foundation, Incorporated, for its charitable work in the North Alabama region.

Foundation was established by Epsilon Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated on July 28, 2005, and incorporated on September 8, 2005.

Mission focuses on enhancing quality of life through charitable contributions, programs, and activities in education, health, science, technology, culture, and economics.

Has made generous contributions to non-profit organizations including American Red Cross, Crisis Services of North Alabama, Huntsville Inter City Learning, North Alabama Center for Educational Excellence, Reading is Fundamental, Tennessee Valley Jazz Society Youth Program, and Union Hill Personal Growth Center.

House of Representatives dedicates this resolution to the corporation in gratitude and esteem for honoring distinguished civic, social, educational, and business leaders and causes.
