Commends the Hayden High School Girls Softball Team for winning the 2019 Class 5A Softball Championship, their second state title since 2013.

Team defeated Rehobeth by a score of 5-0 in the championship game.

Names 20 team members including Lani Adams, Emily Adkins, Ansley Armstrong, Olivia Armstrong, Katlin Belding, Becca Benton, Gracie Benton, Allie Bryant, Hannah Cox, Brenna Hays, Alyssa Jinright, Isabelle Johnson, Kailee McCombs, Marissa Painter, Savanna Painter, Miah Simmons, Lindsey Smith, Savannah Woodard, Taylor Yeager, and Madison Goodwin.

Lindsey Smith was named tournament Most Valuable Player.

Coach John Simmons provided expert guidance and leadership to the team.
