McGill-Toolen Catholic High School Varsity Baseball Team won the Class 7A Alabama Baseball Championship on May 18, 2019, the school's first state baseball championship in its 111-year history.

Team defeated Bob Jones High School Patriots of Madison County in a three-game series, winning games one (8-6) and three (7-6) while losing game two (11-7).

Pitcher Chandler Best threw a complete game in game one, allowing 9 hits and 3 earned runs while striking out 7 batters; notable performances included Spencer Hadley going 3-for-4 with 2 doubles and 4 RBIs.

Team finished the season with a 32-8 record, a school record for wins in a single season, with named roster of 28 players and 5 coaches.
