Records the death of Reverend John Mark Langham, Sr., on March 16, 2019, at age 92 years.

Honors his military service as a decorated World War II veteran in the U.S. Army's European Theatre with honorable discharge in 1945.

Recognizes his entrepreneurial achievements including Langham's Garage, Langham's Auto Parts, and the Prichard Trading Post, as well as his service as the first African American elected as Councilman for the City of Prichard from 1972 to 1980.

Notes his religious leadership including a Master of Divinity degree from the Interdenominational Seminary at Bishop State in 1989 and service as pastor at multiple churches.

Extends sympathy to his surviving spouse of 70 years, two sons, three granddaughters, four brothers, one sister, and other family members and friends.
