The Links, Incorporated is an international nonprofit established in 1946 with over 15,000 professional women of color in 288 chapters across 42 states, Washington D.C., the Bahamas, and the United Kingdom.

Members contribute more than 1,000,000 documented hours of community service annually and work to enrich cultural and economic survival of African Americans and persons of African ancestry.

Nine chapters operate in Alabama (Birmingham, Montgomery, Tuskegee, Greater Mobile, Tuscaloosa, Selma, Greater Huntsville, Leeds, and Jefferson County) focusing on five programmatic areas: Services to Youth, The Arts, National Trends and Services, International Trends and Services, and Health and Human Services.

Alabama chapters have improved citizens' lives through programs addressing STEM/STEAM education, health and wellness awareness, financial literacy, arts awareness, bullying prevention, and childhood obesity reduction.

The House of Representatives recognizes and commends The Links, Incorporated for humanitarian and philanthropic contributions and welcomes members to the 14th Annual Links Day at the Capitol Legislative Conference.
