Commends Colonel J. Bradford Lynn for extraordinary service to the Civil Air Patrol.

Colonel Lynn serves as Member-at-Large and Chair of the CAP Board of Governors, the organization's top governing body.

Joined CAP as a Cadet in the Tuscaloosa Composite Squadron in 1969, earned the General Carl A. Spaatz Award in 1973, and was named National Cadet of the Year for Civil Air Patrol in 1973.

Served as Commander of the Alabama Wing and at the national level as Commander of Cadets for Cadet Officer School; recipient of the Gill Robb Wilson Award and CAP's Distinguished Service Award.

Graduated from University of Alabama in 1976, commissioned as Second Lieutenant in the United States Air Force, and retired from the Air Force Reserves in 2007 after 30 years of service.
