Commends NASA's Marshall Space Flight Center and Center Director Jody Singer for their exceptional contributions to Alabama and the United States in science, rocket propulsion technology, and space exploration over the past six decades.

Recognizes Marshall's $4.5 billion in economic impact, support of more than 28,000 jobs across Alabama, $1 billion in annual tax revenues, and $1.8 billion in procurement dollars as a major economic development asset for the region.

Highlights Marshall's current leadership of the Space Launch System (the most powerful rocket ever built) and ongoing work on the International Space Station, Hubble Space Telescope, and other advanced science missions.

Notes that seven NASA astronauts from Alabama have spent over 320 days in space across 18 Space Shuttle Program flights managed by Marshall, including Mae Jemison, the first female African-American in space.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be forwarded to Center Director Jody Singer recognizing the distinguished scientists, engineers, technicians, and support personnel at Marshall Space Flight Center.
