• Extends the corporate limits and boundary lines of the City of Alexander City in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to include two additional tracts of land.

• Tract 1 includes portions of Township 22 North, Range 21 East, comprising the Southwest 1/4 of Section 27, parts of Section 34 north of Alabama Highway 128, portions of Sections 28 and 6, and the Northeast 1/4 of Section 28.

• Tract 2 includes land in Township 22 North, Range 22 East above the 490-foot contour elevation, portions of Sections 8, 9, and 16 near Lake Martin and the Central of Georgia Railroad right-of-way.

• A map showing the proposed annexation territory is filed in the office of the Judge of Probate in Tallapoosa County and is open to public inspection per Alabama Code Section 11-42-6(b).

• The act becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
