• Amends Alabama Code Section 9-8-25 to extend limited immunity from civil liability to soil and water conservation district supervisors and employees who loan or rent equipment and supplies for soil conservation and erosion control.

• Immunity applies when equipment is maintained in proper working condition, the transaction is conducted in good faith, and damage or injury was not caused by unreasonable behavior of the supervisor or employee.

• Applies to equipment loaned or rented by the district for natural resource protection purposes.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
