• Amends Section 2-17-10, Code of Alabama 1975, to prohibit labeling food products containing cultured animal tissue produced from animal cell cultures as "meat" or "meat food product"

• Defines the restriction to apply to cultured tissue produced outside the organism from which it is derived, effectively targeting laboratory-grown meat

• Maintains existing meat and poultry product inspection, labeling, and packaging standards for conventional products

• Effective date is the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor
