Establishes Cherokee County coroner's total compensation (including expense allowances and salary) at $13,500 per year payable from the county general fund.

Effective beginning the coroner's next term of office, converts the coroner's compensation to an annual salary of $13,500 per year and repeals the prior expense allowance provision.

Authorizes the coroner to appoint a qualified deputy coroner with the same legal authority and responsibility to perform duties when the coroner is unavailable, absent, or incapacitated, with an annual salary of $6,000 per year.

Allows the Cherokee County Commission to adjust and increase the deputy coroner's salary as it determines necessary after the act's effective date.

Repeals multiple prior acts relating to the Cherokee County coroner's compensation effective beginning the coroner's next term of office.
