• Increases service of process fees by $15 per document personally served by the Barbour County sheriff's office or its designee in civil division cases of district and circuit courts.

• Designates multiple papers served on a party or entity at one time as a single document for fee calculation purposes.

• Requires designated court officials to collect the additional $15 fee and remit it to the Barbour County Sheriff's Fund for law enforcement purposes.

• Authorizes the Barbour County Sheriff to use generated funds for law enforcement purposes, including contracting with private, public, or governmental entities for service of process in civil or criminal division cases.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the first month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
