Endorses the efforts of the existing Alabama Centennial of Women's Suffrage Committee to lead the state in commemorating the 100th anniversary of women's suffrage.

Commits legislature support for the Committee's historic, educational, celebratory, and cultural initiatives to observe and commemorate women's suffrage centennial in Alabama.

Encourages the Secretary of State to provide support to the Committee through his role as Alabama's election official and voter education efforts.

Recognizes that women's suffrage was ratified on August 18, 1920, when Tennessee became the 36th state to approve the amendment, meeting the three-fourths requirement under Article V of the U.S. Constitution.

Adopted by the Senate on April 9, 2019, and by the House on April 16, 2019.
