Rescind all previous Alabama Legislature resolutions requesting Congress call an Article V constitutional convention, many adopted decades ago.

Assert that a constitutional convention could fundamentally alter the U.S. Constitution with a new system of government and ratification process, posing risks to unalienable rights.

Note that Article V provides no limits on convention scope, no guarantee of equal state representation, and delegates cannot be controlled or penalized by states.

Urge other state legislatures that have requested an Article V convention to withdraw those requests.

Direct the Secretary of State to transmit certified copies to federal officials and state legislatures documenting Alabama's rescission of prior convention requests.
