Names Room 621 of the Alabama State House as the Legislative Services Agency Bassett Conference Room in honor of Jerry Bassett.

Recognizes Bassett's service as the longest serving Director of Legislative Reference Service from 1991 to 2015 and his continued service as Senior Counsel to the Legislative Services Agency.

Acknowledges Bassett's prior work with the California Legislature and his professional involvement with national and regional legislative organizations including the National Conference of State Legislatures and Council of State Governments.

Directs that a copy of the resolution be presented to Mr. Bassett and displayed in the conference room as recognition of his contributions to the Alabama Legislature and citizens of the state.

Adopted by the Alabama Senate on 19-MAR-19 and by the House of Representatives on 21-MAR-19.
