Amends Section 34-30-57 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to authorize the Alabama Board of Social Work Examiners to charge and collect fees for verifying current licenses, reactivating inactive licenses, reinstating lapsed licenses, applying to be a continuing education provider, and registering supervisors.

Exempts state agencies from paying fees for verifying licensure status of current or prospective employees, registering employees as supervisors, or providing continuing education to current or prospective employees.

Updates license name terminology to reflect "licensed graduate master social workers" and "licensed certified independent clinical social workers" instead of previous nomenclature.

Changes regulatory language from "promulgate rules and regulations" to "adopt rules and regulations" and updates reference to the "State Alabama Administrative Procedures Statute" to "Alabama Administrative Procedure Act."

Takes effect immediately upon passage and approval by the Governor or upon becoming law; passed by House on February 25, 2020 with a vote of 68 Yeas, 19 Nays, and 15 Abstains.
