Makes it illegal for a school employee to solicit a student to transmit obscene material depicting sexual intercourse, sexual excitement, masturbation, breast nudity, genital nudity, or other sexual conduct to any person.

Amends Section 13A-6-82.1 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to add the solicitation prohibition to existing law that already prohibited school employees from distributing obscene material to students.

Establishes both distributing and soliciting obscene material to or from a student as a Class A misdemeanor.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.

Exempted from Amendment 621 constitutional requirements regarding local expenditures because it defines a new crime or amends the definition of an existing crime.
