• Provides a three percent salary increase for all certificated and support personnel in K-12 public schools, Alabama Institute for Deaf and Blind, and two-year postsecondary institutions beginning in fiscal year 2020-2021.

• Establishes revised State Minimum Salary Schedule with three percent increases across all experience steps (from less than 3 years to 27 or more years) for certificated K-12 teachers and AIDB employees.

• Requires support employees, including adult bus drivers and Adult Basic Education personnel, to receive three percent pay increases with separate salary schedules established by local school boards for specific job classifications.
