• Creates the Second Amendment Preservation Act to declare all federal firearms regulations that infringe on Second Amendment rights invalid and unenforceable within Alabama.

• Declares null and void specific federal laws including the Gun Control Act of 1934 and 1968, as well as any federal taxes, registration requirements, or confiscation orders related to firearms and ammunition.

• Prohibits all Alabama state and local public officers and employees from enforcing federal firearms restrictions and makes federal officials guilty of a Class A misdemeanor for attempting enforcement in the state.

• Grants Alabama citizens a private right of action to sue for declaratory judgment and damages against any person or entity attempting to enforce the federal restrictions listed in the act.

• Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and gubernatorial approval.
