Extends free undergraduate tuition and costs at Alabama state colleges, community colleges, junior colleges, and technical colleges to dependent children and spouses of reserve deputies and reserve police officers who are killed or totally disabled in the line of duty.

Expands the definition of "peace officer" in Alabama Code Section 36-30-1 to explicitly include reserve deputies and reserve police officers who are authorized by law enforcement.

Extends $100,000 death benefits (paid from the State Treasury) to beneficiaries and dependents of reserve deputies and reserve police officers killed in the line of duty or who die from heart attack or stroke occurring within 24 hours of duty-related strenuous activity.

Amends Sections 36-21-102 and 36-30-1 of the Code of Alabama 1975 to apply existing law enforcement survivor benefits to reserve law enforcement personnel.

Becomes effective on the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
