• Alters and extends the boundary lines and corporate limits of the City of Demopolis in Marengo County, Alabama to include six designated parcels of land.

• Parcels include approximately 12.66 acres (Parcel 1), multiple sections near the Demopolis Municipal Airport totaling approximately 63.2 acres (Parcels 2-3A), and additional parcels in the Southwest Quarter totaling approximately 7.78 acres (Parcels 4-6A).

• Excludes from annexation the Demopolis Industrial Development Board property, certain paved roads deeded to Marengo County Commission, and a rail easement in the East Half of the Southwest Quarter of Section 11.

• Does not extend the police jurisdiction of the City of Demopolis.

• Becomes effective the first day of the third month following passage and approval by the Governor.
