Proposes a local constitutional amendment for Crenshaw County authorizing the county commission to levy an additional ad valorem tax not exceeding three mills per dollar of assessed property value.

Tax proceeds shall be distributed to the Crenshaw County Health Care Authority for public hospital purposes and related health care purposes.

Tax authorization is limited to five annual tax years, commencing with the tax year for which ad valorem taxes become due on October 1, 2021.

Amendment requires approval by a majority of qualified voters at the general election in November 2020.

Taxes levied pursuant to this amendment are subject to any exemptions otherwise authorized for ad valorem tax purposes.
