Establishes the Battleground School Historical Board in Cullman County composed of five members appointed by the Cullman County legislative delegation for four-year terms.

Board members are granted immunity from civil liability for actions taken in the conduct of their duties to the extent allowed under Section 36-1-12.

Authorizes the board to accept title to the former Battleground School property from the Cullman County Board of Education and hold it for public benefit, particularly for the unincorporated community of Battleground.

Board may receive state, local, and other governmental funding and accept charitable donations for property operations.

Property cannot be sold or transferred without approval by majority vote of the board followed by majority vote of qualified electors in Battleground at a referendum called by the judge of probate during the following general election.
