AL HR126

HR 126 is a resolution mourning the death of Mrs. Bertha Summerville Little, introduced by Representative McCampbell on March 12, 2020.

Mrs. Little was the youngest of seven siblings born to Mr. and Mrs. William Summerville in Panola, Alabama, and graduated from North Sumter High School before moving to New York to attend college.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Hanuel Little, two children (Carol Denise Milan and Ronald David Milan), six siblings, and two great-grandchildren.

Survivors include her daughter Mayor Kimberly Ann McCaa, brother Reverend Emmett Summerville, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.

The House of Representatives records her death with deep sadness and offers this resolution in tribute to her life and with sympathy to her family.
