Mourns the death of Command Sergeant Major (Retired) Bennie G. Adkins of Opelika, Alabama, who died on April 17, 2020, at age 86.

Honors Adkins' military service of more than 20 years in the U.S. Army, including over 13 years as a Green Beret in Special Forces Groups and three deployments to Vietnam.

Recognizes his 2014 Congressional Medal of Honor award for heroic actions during a 1966 Vietnam battle and his 1978 retirement at the rank of Command Sergeant Major.

Acknowledges his post-military accomplishments including earning a Bachelor's degree and two Master's degrees from Troy University, establishing an accounting firm in Auburn for 22 years, and founding The Bennie Adkins Foundation in 2017 to provide educational scholarships to Special Forces soldiers.

Records his death with deep sadness and offers tribute to his life and sympathy to his surviving family members.
