Mourns the death of William Howell "Skip" Rogers, Sr., of Moulton, Alabama, who died on March 24, 2020, at age 89.

Rogers was born March 23, 1931, in Lebanon, Tennessee; graduated from Fairfield High School in 1950; served in the Air Force during the Korean War (1951-1955); and earned a B.S. in Commerce and Business Administration and an LL.B. Law Degree from The University of Alabama.

Worked as City Judge and City Attorney for the City of Moulton for more than 50 years; maintained a private law practice; represented Champion Paper Company for 15 years; and represented the Cities of Courtland and Town Creek.

Rogers was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Moulton and is survived by one son, one daughter, three grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.

The Alabama House of Representatives records his death with deep sadness and offers this resolution as tribute to his life and in sympathy to his family.
