Congratulates Cadet William Gage Doty of Robertsdale High School as the 2019 recipient of the Legion of Valor Bronze Cross for Achievement Award, the highest honor a Navy Junior ROTC cadet can earn.

Cadet Doty serves as battalion commander for RHS NJROTC responsible for nearly 200 cadets, and also serves as secretary for the RHS National Honor Society and established the school's Science National Honor Society.

Cadet Doty maintained a 3.82 cumulative GPA at the end of his junior year, attended Boys State at the University of Alabama, and graduated from the NJROTC Leadership Academy.

Cadet Doty accumulated over 200 hours of community service in the past two years and serves as a member of the unit's color guard.

The Alabama House of Representatives conveys its highest esteem and congratulations to Cadet Doty along with best wishes for his future endeavors.
