Recognizes and commends 17-year-old Lindsey Wood of Thorsby, Alabama, for being named a Top Youth Volunteer in The 25th Annual Prudential Spirit of Community Awards.

Awards Lindsey a $1,000 scholarship, an engraved silver medallion, and an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C., from May 2, 2020, to May 5, 2020, for national recognition events.

Created "Bows That Bless," a project through which Lindsey has made and sold over 10,000 hair bows generating more than $7,000 worth of essential items for children entering the foster care system.

Organizes bow-making parties, hosts National Foster Care Month and National Adoption Month breakfasts, fills backpacks and diaper bags with necessities for foster agencies, and volunteers at foster care camps annually.

The House of Representatives dedicates this resolution to Lindsey Wood recognizing her as a role model youth who exemplifies service to her community.
