• Prohibits the knowing manufacture, marketing, sale, distribution, use, or possession of synthetic urine or urine additives intended to defraud alcohol, drug, or urine screening tests.

• Prohibits the knowing use of one's own urine to defraud screening tests if the urine was expelled or withdrawn before specimen collection for the test.

• Exempts urine and urine products manufactured, marketed, sold, distributed, used, or possessed solely for educational, medical, or scientific research purposes.

• First conviction is a Class B misdemeanor; second or subsequent convictions are Class A misdemeanors.

• Requires persons who collect urine specimens to report knowledge or reasonable suspicion of synthetic urine or urine additive use to appropriate law enforcement agencies.
